Machine Learning Technique (Class Work)

Machine learning is a data analytics technique that teaches computers to do what comes naturally to humans and animals: learn from experience. Machine learning algorithms use computational methods to “learn” information directly from data without relying on a predetermined equation as a model. The algorithms adaptively improve their performance as the number of samples available for learning increases. Deep learning is a specialized form of machine learning.
Why Machine Learning Matters

  1.  Computational finance, for credit scoring and algorithmic trading
  2. Image processing and computer vision, for face recognition, motion detection, and object detection
 3. Computational biology, for tumor detection, drug discovery, and DNA sequencing
 4. Energy production, for price and load forecasting
 5. Automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing, for predictive maintenance
 6.   Natural language processing, for voice recognition applications

How Machine Learning Works

Machine learning uses two types of techniques: supervised learning, which trains a model on known input and output data so that it can predict future outputs, and unsupervised learning, which finds hidden patterns or intrinsic structures in input data.

How Do You Decide Which Machine Learning Algorithm to Use?
Choosing the right algorithm can seem overwhelming—there are dozens of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and each takes a different approach to learning. There is no best method or one size fits all. Finding the right algorithm is partly just trial and error—even highly experienced data scientists can’t tell whether an algorithm will work without trying it out. But algorithm selection also depends on the size and type of data you’re working with, the insights you want to get from the data, and how those insights will be used.

My First UTM Campus Experience

Coming to University Technology Malaysia for my bachelor degree has always been my dream since when I was in high school. Before arriving at UTM Johor Bahru, I first when to UTM Kualar Lumpur, I was amazed by the gigantic and edifice structures, the skyscrapers the many foreign students on campus the beautiful landscaping truly beat my imagination.
From UTM Kuala lumpur, I was transfer to UTM Johor bahru for my foundation programme.
On arriving to UTM JB, I was totally overwhelmed, by what I saw, the campus is so large, green and great, a very conducive place for learning. I found it very easy to settle down, my Bangladesh student’s community help me to settle down easily. With the help of my friends who are here before me, I found it easy to finish my registration on time.
Moreover, during the registration I found so many interesting things on the  process. When I first go to the clinic, the staff are professional and friendly, what surprise me and impress me more in the clinic, is the way and manner they handle the students, the system is not bias like what I experience before coming to Malaysia. Everybody is equal, whether you are foreigner or local. You only need to key in your ticket number and wait for your turn. It’s so amazing and wonderful. The same thing with Bendahari and other offices, the process is so smooth, and a world class standard.
In addition, When I arrived T06, I was dumbfounded, with what I saw, what an academic environment per excellent, the laboratories the classes, lecture halls, facilities are well setup to give the students a suitable, conducive, environment for learning. The staff and the lecturers are professional and very friendly.
Furthermore, one interesting thing i found about UTM JB, infact I am so excited about it, and many international students are happy about that, which is the transport system on campus, as an international student we found the utm bus fleet very helpful.
The little challenges I face is about the food, am not use to eating soup with sugar but at times goes on this will no longer be a problem.
Finally, my experience with UTM, will remain with me till my last breath. Bellow  are some memory which i capture in camera.
Long live University Technology Malaysia.
